The Santa Barbara Fiber Arts Guild presents a free public talk by textile curator Melissa Leventon, “Fit for a Queen,” exploring the creation of a major exhibition developed with the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles. Leventon will share the story behind the exhibition and her experience working with Queen Sirikit’s couture wardrobe by Pierre Balmain. Doors open at 9:30 a.m., with the program beginning at 10:00 a.m. Free and open to the public. Free parking available at the venue.

The Santa Barbara Fiber Arts Guild preserves and promotes fiber arts through demonstrations, lectures, workshops, exhibitions, publications, and other educational programs.
