The 37th Annual Ojai Wine Festival

(OJAI, Calif.,) – May 8th, 2024 – Since its inception in 1987, the Ojai Wine Festival has been a cherished tradition within the community of Ojai. Organized by the Rotary Club of Ojai West Foundation, Inc., this event has grown to become a cornerstone fundraiser, attracting over 2,000 attendees from across Southern California each year.

At its core, the Rotary Club of Ojai West Foundation is dedicated to philanthropy. Their mission encompasses a wide array of charitable projects aimed at enhancing education, promoting women and children’s health, and supporting youth enrichment activities. From initiatives such as the Rotary Floating Classroom to scholarships for graduating seniors, they are committed to making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of individuals in our community. Moreover, their dedication extends globally through contributions to international Rotary projects focused on vital areas such as environmental protection, education, healthcare, poverty alleviation, and disease eradication, including the ongoing efforts in the fight against polio. In total the Rotary Club of Ojai West Foundation and the Rotary Club of Ojai West have contributed $87,670 to local community projects and grants as well as annual projects. A few key projects include the Ojai Valley Woman’s Club, Boys & Girls Club of Ventura Oak View Teen Center, and MESA. MESA provides holistic support for homeless young adults aged 18-24, offering housing, wellness, vocational assistance, and community connection to create pathways to stability and success.

The Ojai Wine Festival is a celebration of this philanthropy and the vibrant tasting scene of Southern California. Set against the stunning backdrop of 91% full Lake Casitas, this hallmark event offers attendees an unforgettable experience. Featuring an impressive lineup of wineries and breweries, alongside engaging activities such as silent auctions, live music and dancing, and an artisan market, the festival promises to delight the senses and create lasting memories for all who attend.
