Intended for those wishing to extend mindfulness onto their plate and improve their relationship with food, well explore specific techniques that will not only help you lose weight, improve digestive health and dissolve stress but will also deepen your connection with your body and the planet. From creating a sacred space to selecting ingredients, to optimizing your digestive capabilities, well explore an array of simple but potent daily tools you can put to use immediately to improve your overall health. Well also discuss other modalities to assist you in your journey towards mindful eating, including the use of aromatherapy and essential oils, pranayama (breathwork) and even sound therapies to activate your parasympathetic nervous system and enhance your rest & digest capabilities. Britta Gudmunson is a holistic wellness coach, yogi, and musical medicine woman. She assists teachers, entrepreneurs and experts to attain clarity, sustainable energy and feel amazing in their bodies so they can show up with presence and confidence for their students and clients. Shes the published author of Eat Here Now: a bite-sized guide to ritualize your life, nourish your body and feed your spirit. Currently living in the mountains of Santa Barbara, Britta offers coaching and sound healing for private clients in addition to facilitating group classes, workshops andprograms designed to inspire the heart and enliven the wisdom of the body. She is the co-creator of the inCourage Chorus in Santa Barbara, a non-audition community choir lifting the collective spirit through musical activism.
