In today’s world, we’re inundated with messaging around the “right” way to be a woman. We’re encouraged to “be quiet,” “calm down,” and “be appropriate.” We stifle our voices to fit in and keep ourselves safe. To avoid being seen as “too much.”

With all this noise, it’s easy to feel lost. To lose your grounding. To be repeatedly knocked off course, even as you’re doing everything you can to stay centered. To search endlessly outside yourself for the answer…consuming more and more in an effort to “shape up” or “fix” what’s wrong.

No matter where you are on your path, The Expressed Woman mini retreat, created by Melanie Elkin owner of Yoga’licious, is a doorway back to you, in every sense of what that means to you. It’s a sacred opportunity to slow down, tune in, and nourish yourself alongside redefining what expression means in your life from the inside out. Together, we’ll cut through all the noise that tells you who and how to be, and create the space you need to connect back to the core of YOU. To bring YOU back into all you do.

In the spirit of play and exploration, as your guide, we’ll take a look at how you’ve been relating to yourself and your life, accessing and creating new possibilities to hear, feel, and connect with your own unique expression.

This retreat has inspired and supported many women over the years in feeding that longing of acceptance and being themselves. Will you join us?

June 8th, 9:30-5:30 pm in Santa Barbara.

This retreat is intended to support you in moving from depletion to vitality, fear to flow, isolation to community, and suppression to freedom.

The full investment is $97 for this day retreat, but there’s a special discounted rate of $47 for you until June 2nd. To extend the impact of this work into the larger community, Melanie the creator of the event be donating 10% of all proceeds to Rachel Cargle’s Therapy for Black Women & Girls, an organization that provides funding for mental health services to women of color.
