The Lompoc Concert Association (LCA) opens its 75th Anniversary season on Saturday, September 17th, with a performance by Grammy Award-nominated pianist, singer, songwriter, and radio host, Judy Carmichael. She is one of the world’s leading interpreters of stride and swing piano. Count Basie nicknamed her “Stride,” acknowledging the command with which she plays this technically and physically demanding jazz piano style.

Judy’s talents have taken her all over the world, from Carnegie Hall to the Guggenheim Museum in Venice, Italy. Her talent has led her to onstage performances with the likes of Melissa Etheridge, Michael Feinstein, Steve Ross, and more! Her high-energy program is a romp through the Great American Songbook combined with her famed wit and humor.

Doors of the First United Methodist Church, 925 N. F St, open for the performance at 6:45pm and the concert begins at 7:30pm. Tickets are available at the door: adults – $25, students with ID – $5. Active Military – $15. Season tickets are also available now for LCA’s 4-concert series running from September 2022 – March 2023. For more information visit lompocconcert.org, email lompocconcertinfo@gmail.com, or find LCA on Facebook and Instagram.

This concert is sponsored in part by the Union Bank Foundation, and through the donations of many area donors. The entire season is supported through a grant from the Towbes Fund for the Performing Arts, a field of interest fund of the Santa Barbara Foundation.
