SURVIVORS, the acclaimed Holocaust and tolerance teaching play by Wendy Kout is coming to the Marjorie Luke Theatre on Thursday, October 19. The public performance is part of RAISE OUR VOICES!, an affordable community event to encourage empathy and inclusion. The Inner Light Gospel Choir and the Dos Pueblos High School Jazz Choir will be featured, and Gwyn Lurie, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of the Montecito Journal is moderating a talkback after the play.
Tickets for RAISE OUR VOICES! are available at teevtix.com . For more information about SURVIVORS visit artsforchange.world or call 818.784.0344. The play is appropriate for ages 13 and older.
SURVIVORS will also have two performances at the Marjorie Luke Theater earlier that day for SBUSD students thanks to the generosity of a private donor and the great support of the SBUSD Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.
Co-sponsors for SURVIVORS and RAISE OUR VOICES! are Santa Barbara Education Foundation, ADL Santa Barbara/Tri-Counties and the Jewish Federation of Santa Barbara.
