We have chanted the OM many times in our practice, and we know that the sound has many layers of meaning.  This workshop looks at some of those layers from a range of texts, traditions, and radical practices, with a particular look at how the sound OM represents the sound of Shakti (the Goddess) who resides in the heart and pulsates outward from our silent center to create the whole universe.  We will learn about the sacred architecture of the sound and do a practice that is simple but profound.  This workshop is available to beginners and advanced students alike, and teachers of yoga or sacred sound might enjoy some of the esoteric teachings with particular curiosity.
Cynthia is a student of non-dual Tantra (the Trika schools).  She loves guiding students in embodied practices that are rooted in sacred texts and the anatomy of the subtle body.
