The Tibetan Aid Foundation and the Odiyana Institute invite you to join our fundraiser and taste a variety of food from the Himalayan Region on November 11, 2023, 6PM – 9PM at Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara.
The event supports the Odiyana Health and Education project serving people who live in the remote North Eastern region of India. Tulku Orgyen P’huntsok Rinpoche, the founder of Odiyana Institute and a twenty-year resident of Santa Barbara, will be presenting information on the Odiyana Project and the people it will service. The medical clinic is nearly complete and a residential orphanage school for the diverse populations will begin construction in 2024.
The evening will include a silent auction of buddhist items, live music entertainment, Tibetan and Bhutanese Circle Dancing and the most exciting part of the evening is a variety of Himalayan foods and drinks The event is at the . Tickets $45 Suggested Donation.
