Tiles on Deck – Mah Jongg at the Maritime Museum

A stylish afternoon of lunch, Mah Jongg, prizes, and community support will benefit SBMM

Santa Barbara, CA — The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum (SBMM) invites guests to the 3rd annual “Tiles on Deck – Mah Jongg at the Maritime Museum” on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the museum, located at 113 Harbor Way in Santa Barbara. Check-in begins at 11:00 a.m., lunch is served at 11:30 a.m., and Mah Jongg game play runs from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m.

This lively fundraiser offers guests an afternoon of friendly competition and maritime charm in the heart of Santa Barbara Harbor. Players of all skill levels are welcome, making it a fun and inviting event for seasoned Mah Jongg enthusiasts and those newer to the game alike. No quarters are needed, and prizes will be awarded after each round of play. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum, supporting the museum’s exhibitions, educational programs, and community engagement efforts.

Tickets are $125 per person or $500 for a table of four.

Set against the backdrop of the harbor, Tiles on Deck brings together fun, fellowship, and philanthropy in support of one of Santa Barbara’s leading cultural institutions.
