Tour de Lavender

Join us for Wake Up With Wellness!!  Morning wellness workshops in association with Taste Of The Santa Ynez Valley, taking place October 17th-20th.  We invite you to experience even more of what the Santa Ynez Valley has to offer.

Start your day experiencing the rolling hills and the beautiful landscape of the Santa Ynez Valley as you cruise along on a Pedego Electric bike.  Say yes to fun, and the wind in your hair as you pedal along, or let the electric bike take you on an adventure that will lead you down Roblar Ave to Clairmont Farms.

Clairmont Farm is a family-owned, organic lavender farm, growing Grosso lavender.  History comes to life as you enter the farm, lined with olive trees planted by the Spanish Missionaries. The majestic Santa Ynez Mountains create a beautiful backdrop for this boutique lavender wonderland.  Along with the fragrant scent of lavender, the grounds are home to several, majestic oak trees that are three hundred years in age!

Participate in a hands-on lavender workshop taught by Sean Everette Crowder of Clairmont Farm.  In addition to learning about the history and many uses of lavender, Sean will guide you through the process of making beautiful, organic lavender sachets and mineral salt blends to take home and enjoy.

Light fare and time to browse and shop the Clairmont boutique will conclude the morning.

After your hands-on workshop, enjoy the remainder of your morning noshing on lavender-inspired foods, from quiche with a lavender crust and salad with a lavender dressing to lavender milk and donuts!  Take a few moments to stroll around the farm, shop for premium lavender products from Clairmont or post up with a book and enjoy a little r&r before your ride back.
