You’re invited to the next installment of the UC Master Gardeners presentations at Montecito Library.
This month’s talk is all about cover crops! Cover crops can be a great way to build healthy soils, both in the ground and in raised beds, and can be attractive seasonal additions to your garden.
This talk will cover the benefits of cover crops for soil and pollinators; when and how to plant them; recommended species for Santa Barbara County; and using them for mulch or compost.
Seed packets for some popular fall cover crops will be available. Registration is required.
