The UCSB Percussion Ensemble presents “Music in Motion”, a concert of music for the Percussion Ensemble with dancers from UCSB’s Department of Theatre and Dance, directed by Christina McCarthy, and Psychopomp Dance Theatre, Shenandoah Harris – Artistic Director. Composers to be performed include Christopher Rouse, Steve Reich, Third Coast Percussion, and Ivan Trevino. The UCSB Percussion Ensemble is directed by Continuing Lecturer Jonathan Nathan and includes students from a variety of UCSB’s academic Departments.
