Biography:
Amy works in the mental health and her primary passion is working with unserved/under-served “at promise” youth and their families. She is the Residential Program Director at Noah’s Anchorage Youth Shelter; a strengths-based, trauma informed, youth-centric, no/low barrier program within the Youth & Family Services branch of the Channel Islands YMCA serving youth & their families. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and her Masters of Science in Early Childhood Mental Health at San Diego State University. Throughout her career, Amy is dedicated to working in partnership with families, children, and transitioned aged youth (12-26yo.) finding unique and effective solutions to challenges they may be facing.
