Nearly 40% of men today identify as feminists, and many are reshaping what masculinity looks like by pushing back against toxic and harmful stereotypes.
At the same time, though, we’re seeing a troubling rise in misogyny. Masculinities don’t exist in a vacuum—they are shaped by race, class, sexuality, and other lived experiences. Economic shifts, the polarizing political climate, an epidemic of loneliness, and the influence of online spaces have left a lot of men and boys searching for identity and belonging—sometimes turning to ideas that reinforce damaging and hateful views about gender.
Join us for a conversation with feminist men as we explore what contemporary masculinity looks like and how we can build healthier, more inclusive models that reject sexism and embrace equity, care, and connection.
Our speakers include Prof. Tristan Bridges (author of Exploring Masculinities), Prof. Charlie Hale (UCSB Dean of Social Sciences), Otieno Okatch (CEO of PALS), and Prof. Sameer Pandaya (author of Our Beautiful Boys).
