Presenter: Denys Zhadialev, PhD, Associate Professor, Dnipro University of Technology, Dnirpo, Ukraine
Expressions like “throbs of experience,” “seasons,” and “rhythm” are key ideas in Whitehead’s cosmology. Finding the proper place and combination of such ideas and categories is to come to a new vision of the world. It is to find new rhythms, regularities and patterns. Denys Zhadiaiev will explain why “time” as a category is central to Whitehead’s cosmology and what trends in education, psychology, and digital technology are following a similar vision. Professor Zhadiaiev will join us live via the Internet from Ukraine.
Denys Zhadiaiev is from the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy, Dnipro University of Technology, Ukraine. His research focuses on the concept of balance from the process philosophy point of view in light of ecology and sustainable development. He is an international speaker, has translated articles and a book on process psychology (Brown. J.W. The Self-Embodying Mind) and collaborated as an editor of some volumes. Believing that art will not substitute for pure philosophy he does experiments as a verified Spotify and Apple Music artist (alias: Denys Dnipro). His recent publication is: Brown, J.W., Stenner, P., Zhadiaiev, D. (2024), The Microgenetic Theory of Mind and Brain, Selected Essays in Process Psychology
