Occupy Ortega Park is dedicated to reactivating this neighborhood park of and for the people.
This monthly gathering brings the community together safely and openly in the spirit in peace and unity.
On Saturday, August 13th at 11am to 3pm, students from SBHS Ethnic Studies and Youth Brigade Ortega Park are collaborating for the 3rd annual Santa Barbara School Supplies Drive, where they have raised funds to assemble FREE School Supplies Packs for distribution.
Masks are recommended and safe social distancing will be followed.
Special visit from University of San Diego Turning Wheel Project Mobile classroom.
Artful kid activities are planned.
Alma De Mexico Dance performance at 12:30pm is scheduled .
Health community will also be on hand for health and safety.
