Santa Barbara Women’s Political Committee’s Annual Presidents’ Circle Event focuses on the topic of “What’s Next?
What will be the Feminist Agenda?” This Zoom discussion coincides with Women’s History Month.
Headlining this year is rising political star and Los Angeles Board of Supervisor Holly Mitchell. In 2019, then State Senator Mitchell introduced and helped pass the CA Crown Act that prohibits discrimination against natural hairstyles worn by people of color in the workplace. Santa Barbara County 3rd District Supervisor Joan Hartmann will join the discussion offering a local perspective on the theme.
