Construction Electrical

SBCC School of Extended Learning, Career Skills Institute

Prepare to enter or re-enter the workforce with this class in residential construction electrical work. Take as a stand-alone course or as part of the 4-course introduction to residential construction, consecutive 2-week courses in framing, finish carpentry, electrical and plumbing, leading to Certificate. Prepares students for workforce and credit Construction Technology program.

Topics include intro to home electrical systems, electrical and job-site safety, tool use and materials identification.

To obtain the NonCredit Construction Module Certificate, participants must complete a total of four required courses:

(1) Construction Framing

(2) Construction Finish Carpentry

(3) Construction Electrical

(4) Construction Plumbing

 

 

Construction Electrical takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 15 to June 24. These classes will be held 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
