Producing a Digital Newsletter

SBCC School of Extended Learning, Career Skills Institute

Prepare to enter or re-enter the workforce with this course that focuses on formatting a newsletter for print and digital platforms. Students will be given guidance while laying out an actual publication of their own choosing or will be given a prototype to produce.

You may elect to take this course independent of a Career Skills Institute digital badge or apply it to the Digital Printing: Newsletters & Magazines Basics Certificate. The Digital Printing Certificate prepares students for entry-level graphic design work in print and online media and also provides a basis for expanded course work and career laddering.

To obtain the Digital Printing Certificate, participants must complete a total of two required courses:

(1) Producing a Digital Newsletter

(2) Producing a Digital Magazine

 

Producing a Digital Newsletter takes place on Wednesdays, July 14 & July 21. Classes will be held 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
