Keith Smith of Santa Maria continues to work out the best he can following a 2009 motorcycle accident that left him partially paralyzed. A former emergency medical technician, he’s staying fit until he can be accepted into UCLA’s tri-continuous stimulation trials in the hope that he’ll be able to walk again.
