Robert E. Hazard

Robert E. Hazard passed away at Cottage Hospital on June 25th. He was born on August 25th, 1919 to Madie and Delmar Hazard. He attended Santa Barbara High School where he met the love of his life, Inez Maseda.

Bob and Inez were married for 65 years. They had five children and many grand and great grandchildren.

Bob was a commercial fisherman, fishing alongside his Dad, Delmar and brother Ralph Hazard. Later he started Santa Barbara Radiator with Clark Smith, retiring in 1985.

In retirement, our Dad’s life became about family and volleyball and his wonderful dog, Haley.

Our Dad touched many friend’s lives and will always be remembered as generous and ready to help people in any way he could. No formal services will be held, family and friends will gather at Refugio State Park on August 2nd at 9:00 am to say goodbye and Celebrate his Life. Pot luck. There will be a paddle out session with flowers.
