Valerie “Val” Heieck

Valerie (Val) Heieck passed away on Monday, January 31, 2011 after a holistic battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She was 51 years old. Val spent many years in Santa Barbara and is fondly remembered by many people here. She moved away to be closer to her family in San Carlos, California but never forgot her ties to this town. A celebration of Val’s life will be held on Sunday, March 13 at 4:30 pm at the Santa Barbara Yoga Center, 32 East Micheltorena Street.
