Demetri Firos (affectionately known as Deamer) passed away on February 17, 2011. Deamer was born in Santa Barbara, CA on August 18, 1926 to John and Dolores Firos. Married to Kiki 52 years, 2 daughters were born: Shelley Higgins (Kevin) Lake Tahoe, CA, and Nicole “Cook” Campos (Derrick) San Miguel, CA.

Mr. Firos served as a Merchant Marine, retired as a Local Butcher, and became a Legal Assistant until he moved to Pine Mountain Club. Deamer leaves his sister Alexandra Morelli; 3 grandchildren (Nate Campos, Ryan Hickey, and Cody Higgins), and a host of special relatives. He was preceded in death by his sister Irene Torres.
