A mother’s note to her son.

To my precious son, brother, father, and friend. How time has passed since I last saw you. I’ve been told that you are in a better place but I want you here with me. My heart had a void when you left. I fill it with your memories. If I knew that day would be the last time I would see you I would have held you forever. They tell me to move forward, but not now. Your smile, humor, and big heart encompass all of the lives you are connected to. The presence of your free spirit is always with us never to be forgotten, always to be remembered. Con todo me amor, we miss and love you.
