Chris Rice

June 10, 1982 – December 18,2011

Chris Rice, 29, Santa Barbara, CA, formerly of Fessenden, ND, died from injuries sustained in an ATV accident December 18, 2011, in the Mojave Desert near Randsburg, CA.

Chris was a graduate of the University of North Dakota and currently employed as a Product Development Coordinator with Decker Outdoors Corporation.

He is survived by his mother, Gretchen (Jon) Bertsch, father, Wayne Rice, all of Fessenden; sister, Jessica (Charles) Mason-Hill, South Jordan, UT; brothers, Andrew, Crookston, MN; Jonathan, Grand Forks, ND; Benjamin, Fessenden.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on January 4, 2012, at 3:00 pm, at Elings Park South Bluff, Santa Barbara, CA. Arrangements are with Nelson Funeral Home, Fessenden. Phone 701-547-3731.
