Laura Howell Bissell

February 2, 1919 – December 26, 2011

Laura Bissell, beloved wife of Arthur D. Bissell (dec), and seventy year resident of Santa Barbara, died peacefully on December 26th at Serenity House in Santa Barbara, CA., following a Christmas Day surrounded by her family.

Laura is survived by her daughters, Linda Knechtel and Story Kornbluth, 5 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Dedication to community and political involvement were paramount in Laura’s life. Her enthusiasm for living, and the light she brought to others will be greatly missed.

There is to be a Celebration of Laura’s Life for family and friends on April 7th, at 2:00 pm., at Skofield Park, in Santa Barbara, CA.
