Linda Hausz

December 8, 1925 – February 17, 2012

With her sense of humor intact to the very last, Linda’s journey with Alzheimer’s came to an end on February 17. She will be terribly missed by her children and family, but she lives on within us, and we owe her a tremendous debt for everything she shared with us – humor, intelligence, music, love of language, and the love of animals that sustained her. She will be remembered forever by her sons Steve and wife Melissa, and Jeff and wife Carla; her grandchildren Forrest, Stasiu, and Katelin; her son-in-law James; and her siblings Charles, Diane, and Thomas.

The family is indebted as well to the incredible staff and caregivers at Villa Alamar, where she lived her last years. Their loving care was boundless, and we love them dearly in return, more than words can express. Heartfelt thanks as well to Dr. Lawrence Mietus and Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care of Santa Barbara.
