Andrew Reese Morrill

12/27/1974 – 05/05/2012

Slipped into eternity peacefully on May 5th, 2012. Andrew was born on December 27, 1974 in Agana Heights, Guam. He was beloved by his family and remained a child of the sea.

Andrew fed his unquenchable thirst for knowledge at the University of California, Santa Barbara where he earned a PhD in Chemistry in 2009. He was a published scientist, avid reader, a lover of the outdoors and the finer things in life. As a student and teacher he touched many lives extending his knowledge in countless ways.

He is survived by his wife Lisa and daughter Maya of Santa Barbara, his parents Charles and Bonnie , brother Kevin Morrill, sister Amy Morrill Robison, nieces and nephews all of Texas.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Goleta Beach Park at Area A at 1pm on Sunday, May 27, 2012. There we will share memories after a brief service. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions toward the Dr. Andrew R. Morrill Memorial Fund for Maya I. Morrill at Santa Barbara Bank & Trust. Andrew will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
