Barbara Clara Rohkar Larsen

July 16,1932 – April 21, 2012

Born July 16,1932, in Chicago Illinois. Barbara lived 50 years of her life here in Santa Barbara.

She was loved by many . She helped support and inspire many local artisans. Her favorite thing to do was frequent local galleries and art shows seeking out unique works of art. She was a member of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. Each year she would take a trip to the Festival of arts and Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach. Barbara loved animals especially her cat, Buckey. We will miss Barbara’s sharp wit and humor. As well as her generous kind heart. She passed on Earth Day 2012 in Thornton, Co.

Barbara’s husband Henry Larsen passed in 2009 from Lou Gehrig’s Disease. She is survived by her only son Dr. Karl Larsen of Colorado Springs Co and 2 grandsons. No services will be held. Donations to the Humane Society 5399 Overpass Rd SB Ca 93111 in her name would be appreciated.
