Marilyn Grosboll

Marilyn passed peacefully at Serenity House on August 24th. Best known for her 32 years of teaching at Adult Ed, Marilyn was a true community treasure, impacting so many lives. Her classes, “Adventures in Self Esteem,” “Living with Loss,” and “Goodbye Scales, Hello Life!,” were always popular, and had many repeat attendees. Her positive attitude and acceptance of “what is,” was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Marilyn’s Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, October 13th at 1 PM at Area 9, Lower Manning Park in Montecito. Please wear colorful, casual clothes and bring a blanket or camp chair, a pot luck dish to share and your memories of Marilyn. Please RSVP to celebrationMG@gmail.com to help us plan.
