David G. Lucas

David G. Lucas, 63, died December 31, 2012 in Indio, CA.

Dave was born in Gary, Indiana on April 30, 1949 to George and Barbara Lucas. After attending school in Santa Barbara he became an electrician. He spent time working on notable local projects the Space Shuttle at Vandenberg AFB, Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant and Oil Platforms.

Dave is pre-deceased by his parents George and Barbara and his only sibling Donna.

Dave was an avid fisherman and enjoyed many trips all over North America with his fishing buddies. He is a step-father to Jeff Kennedy and Kristin Keifer and grandfather to Linnea, Colin, Joseph, Haley, Charlotte and Catherine.

Dave leaves behind his two closest friends, Jim Lash and Terri Ketterer who miss him dearly. Dave also leaves many good friends behind but will join up with them at a later time and in a better place.

Donations to the Santa Barbara Cancer Center.
