Timothy John Wallace

Timothy J. Wallace passed away June 24, 2013, surrounded by loved ones.

Tim was born on September 17, 1955 to John and Mary Wallace in the Bronx, NYC. He grew up in Ridgewood, NJ, graduating from Ridgewood HS with the class of 1973. After attending Indiana State University (Physical Education Major) and the New York Institute of Technology (Fine Arts Major), Tim eventually graduated from the Richard Stockton State College of New Jersey with a B.S. in Marine Biology in 1978.

In Jan. of 1979 he relocated to Santa Barbara, California where he supported himself as a printer until landing a job as a draftsman for Delco Electronics (a division of General Motors). Over the next 32 years, Tim worked for several defense contractors before retiring from Raytheon Company in 2011 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Tim was predeceased by his brother, James (2004), father, John (2008) and mother, Mary (2011). He is survived by his sister, Kathleen and her companion, Rick Wender of NYC, son, Michael of Santa Barbara, daughter and son-in-law, Cassandra and Anthony Dias of El Segundo, 2 grand daughters, Jaime and Audrey, and beloved life partner, Jeannine (Jay) Wade.
