Charlotte Ann Woods

Charlotte Ann Woods a native of Santa Barbara passed away May 18, 2018 the age of 100.

She was born on July 26, 1917 in Santa Barbara. She was the second of three children born to Stella and Luther Baker and grew up in the years of the Great Depression. She worked at El Paseo in her youth and was an auditor for Sears. She was married on Jan 22, 1939 to Jordan (Woodie) Woods at the onset of WWII and had a story book marriage for 54 years.

Charlotte loved the sun, beach, dancing and was a professional seamstress. She was extremely creative, adventurous and most of all generous. She was proud of her Rose Garden with many varieties and still was vibrant at 100-year-old. She was a wonderful wife and mother and left us all with joyful memories and cherished teachings. She truly lived a full life in the city she loved.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jordan. She is survived by her son Michael Woods of Santa Barbara and Debi Woods-Wilson of Kaua’i, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Friends may visit with family on Saturday June 2, 2018 at Calvary Cemetery where a memorial will be held at 11:00 am.
