Craig Sherson

Craig Sherson was born in Cottage Hospital on April 22, 1956 and spent his entire life in the Santa Barbara area. He was a proud alumnus of SBHS and contributed to the reconstruction of Peabody Stadium..He was also proud of his 30+ years with Vons/Safeway.

He was as colorful as his body art, featuring super-heroes. He enjoyed gambling, collecting totem -poles ,Hard Rock café T-shirts, vintage cars, and hanging out at Mel’s. He devoured anything and everything Oakland Raiders.

He owned one of the first car-phones (in the 80’s) and WAS Craig’s Food Snacks, delivering soda and snacks to vending machines around town. He will be missed by friends, old and new.

He died after a short illness on July 31. He was preceded in death by his Mother & Father, Beulah (Dolly) and Philip of Montecito.
