Joseph Mathew Petrich

Joseph Mathew Petrich passed away unexpectedly at his Santa Barbara home on 10/30/18 at the age of 42. His constant companion Ozzie the Rottweiler was by his side until the end.

Born in Santa Barbara on October 1, 1976, Joe resided on the central coast for the majority of his life. His passions were spending time with his son and dogs in the outdoors. Always the avid fisherman, he never veered far from an ocean, river or lake.

Joe worked as a glazier for most of his adult life and recently helped to create a successful glass company in Ventura.

Joe is survived by his son Koyer Petrich of Medicine Lake, MT. Mother Jane (Warren) Petrich of Mabank, TX. Brother Mike Petrich of Santa Barbara. Stepbrother Mat Petrich of Burlington, KY. Grandmothers Louise Warren and Millicent Petrich. Aunts Susan Petrich and Sue Keller. Uncle John Petrich as well as several cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father Michael Frank Petrich of Santa Barbara in 2008.

Joe, we love you so much and will miss you forever. It is our prayer that you have found a better place.
