Deborah (Debbie) Guerrero

Loving mother and sister and loyal friend passed away at Cottage Hospital on December 5th.

Debbie was a long time resident of Santa Barbara coming to California from Pennsylvania in 1960. She attended local schools being a proud Don and worked for more than 25 years as a bi-lingual special education aide at Adams Elementary and La Cumbre Junior High. She was blessed with a beautiful singing voice singing in many groups including the Santa Barbara High Madrigals.

She was talented waitress who began her career at Sambos on the beach and worked at Harry’s for over ten years and ended her career at the Four Winds. She made those she served feel special and cared for.

Her friends and family will miss her sense of humor, her loyalty and her dedication to loved ones.

She is survived by her children Lilianna, Beto (Gigi), her sister Maryanna Gray (Bob), and nephew Geoff.

She was predeceased by both parents, Dolores and Chester Welday.
