Bobby Sharp, May 9, 1935 to April 13, 2019

A funny guy who loved sailing, chocolate, his dogs, and his wife, not necessarily in that order. Always with a smile, he found words to bring humor into any situation. He knew no stranger and engaged with anyone who crossed his path.

If you knew Bobby Sharp, he was a slice from a different pie. Let’s remember him as the compassionate and empathetic friend, a one of a kind guy who loved to love. He loved being on the water, sailing into the wind, with pure joy, and enjoying his time at both the Santa Barbara Yacht Club and the Corinthian Yacht Club in Marblehead.

His wife, JP, brother Charles Sharp, and four children, Steve Sharp, Dave Sharp, Linda Kuizin, and Brenda Brink, along with his dog, Winnie, and his many friends, will miss him terribly. Tell the stories and laugh the good laugh when you think of him. That’s the best celebration of Bob’s life and legacy.

A gathering to share in his passing will be announced at a later date at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Marblehead, MA. (Slippers will be optional.)
