Robin Jeffrey Lind
Robin was born in Billings, Montana, his family moved to Santa Barbara California when he was
two years old. He attended Garfield Elementary, La Cumbre Junior High and graduated from Santa Barbara High School in 1972. He played men’s city softball at Dwight Murphy and Pershing Park for many years as well as coaching a women’s team. Besides playing softball, he played volleyball at East Beach, a sport he played very well, able to spike the ball effectively, given he was not a tall person. He moved to New Mexico 21 years ago where he was living at the time of his passing.
Robin was born a natural comedian and was often mistaken for Robin Williams by tourists in Santa Barbara. The tourist would say -you are Robin, he would answer “yes” being true to his comedian nature and self.
A few years ago he suffered a heart attack, never fully recovered which led his health to decline.
Robin is deeply loved by his family and will be missed by his family and friends.
