He played men’s city softball at Dwight Murphy and Pershing Park for many years as well as coaching a women’s team. Besides playing softball, he played volleyball at East Beach, a sport he played very well, able to spike the ball effectively, given he was not a tall person. He moved to New Mexico 21 years ago where he was living at the time of his passing.

Robin was born a natural comedian and was often mistaken for Robin Williams by tourists in Santa Barbara. The tourist would say -you are Robin, he would answer “yes” being true to his comedian nature and self.

A few years ago he suffered a heart attack, never fully recovered which led his health to decline.
Robin is deeply loved by his family and will be missed by his family and friends.
