Kevin Quinn

On March 27, 2022, our beloved Kevin “Quinny” Quinn lost his hard-fought battle with cancer. After 30-plus years in Santa Barbara, Kevin relocated in 2019 back to his roots in Donegal Ireland, where he was building a retirement cabin overlooking Lough Swilly on Inch Island. He loved Santa Barbara and built long-standing relationships through his successful carpentry and general contracting business Kevin Quinn Woodworks, as well as his myriad of extracurricular activities including the darts league, the Press Room Football Club, swimming at Los Banos, golfing, and sharing a pint with his many ex-pat and American friends at “the pub”.  He was survived by his siblings, Margaret, Bernadette, Tony, and Brian Quinn; his father Michael, and his long-term partner Renee Cooper. A memorial celebration will be held on Sunday, May 15 at 2 pm at The Press Room at 15 E. Ortega in downtown Santa Barbara. Stop by and raise a glass, share a story, and, most of all, share a laugh and a smile because that is what Quinny loved most. The man was a legend. Let us remember him in joyous spirit and love forever.
