Alice Edwards

Santa Barbara native, Alice Edwards, passed peacefully at the age of 96 on August 28, 2024. Born in 1928, she was the middle of 5 children born to Josephine Ross Edwards and William Albert Edwards, the latter having been a prominent Santa Barbara 1920-40s architect. Alice graduated from the University of California at Berkley as a physical therapist working in the Bay Area until she later returned to Santa Barbara. Never married and without children, she was an active Democrat and also participated in many local organizations. Predeceased by her parents and siblings, she is fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. She has been cremated and her ashes scattered as she wished.
