Rudolph Patrick Davalos

Rudolph “Rudy” Patrick Davalos passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025, at the age of 78. He was a beloved husband, father, and friend. Born March 17, 1947, in Salinas, CA, Rudy grew up in Soledad, CA, the youngest of seven children. He served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, earning many honors. After his service, Rudy earned his Bachelor’s from Cal State LA and his MBA from UCLA. He married Margaret in 1973, and together they raised three children in Santa Barbara, CA. Rudy built a long career in business and entrepreneurship. He loved cars, sports, investing, travel, and most of all, his family and friends. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 9th at 11 a.m. at the SB Mission.
He will be deeply missed by all.
