Loretta J. Simioni

Native Santa Barbarin. Loretta passed away April 25, 2025, at the age of 91. She attended all local schools, Franklin elementary school, SB Jr High and graduated from SB High school in 1951. She worked for the General Telephone Co. for 20 years and became the supervisor for all operators.

In all those years she became a very, very good amateur golfer. She was a member of The Montecito Country Club Highlights. Came in 2nd in 38 holes at Los Angeles State Amateur event. She was M.C.C champion 16 times, senior champ 3 times and super senior champ 3 times.

On top of all that she had 11 holes in one.

Loretta was widowed previously by Dr. James Kepl. She was previously deceased by her parents Alice and Benny, two brothers, Bobby & Benny Picasales. Later, she met up with her childhood friend, Louis. They were married for 30 wonderful years. She is survived by her husband Louis, stepchildren Bruce, Shelley, Mark and two nieces, Lisa and Michelle, in Texas.
