Jimmy Todd
Jimmy Todd was born on October 26th 1970 near San Diego, CA. He moved with his parents and sister to Santa Barbara, CA in 1975. At La Colina Junior High Jimmy met the girl who became the love of his life, Jeannine. Together, they shared many joyful years and raised three children.
Jimmy was a beloved member of the Santa Barbara community, known for his warmth and generosity. He became known for his deep faith as well. Through study of bible translations in 2004, Jimmy heard the words of his Saviour. Through those words Jimmy received faith and became a joint-heir with Christ in God’s kingdom. Though Jimmy’s physical life ended April 29, 2025, he would’ve said about that day that it was hardly mentionable in eternity’s records, for he believed he entered into eternity when he was born again in 2005. Ever after he dedicated his life to serving his Lord Jesus Christ, most recently within the church family he was a part of at South Coast Baptist Church of Santa Barbara. Jimmy loved to share everything he was given, including his brilliant understanding of computers and technology. As part of the Santa Barbara Christian Homesteaders, he served families through his immense passion for media and music by creating their annual graduation slideshow from 2004 – 2017. He worked in IT at QAD for 25 years, a Computer-Whisperer of his time. Jimmy’s patience and love of helping others made him a great teacher. He was cut out to be a husband and father, pouring his heart into his wife, children and granddaughters. His voice, talent, generosity and spirit is missed by so many. Jimmy lived exactly how he wanted. He was so proud of his home, family, and life.
Ecclesiastes 3:15 KJV:
That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
Psalm 119:14-16 KJV:
I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Jeannine, his children Riley, Ryan, and Stephanie, son-in-law Tim, granddaughters Andromeda, Aria, and Ophelia, his sister Cindy and her family, and parents Sonja and Alan.
