Annie Regalado-Mimms

With heavy hearts, our family announces the passing of Annie Consuelo Regalado-Mimms on September 25, 2025, at Serenity House, surrounded by those she loved.

Annie was born on April 15, 1950, to John and Aurelia Regalado of Carpinteria. Annie was the third child born of eight children. She graduated from Carpinteria High School and attending Santa Barbara Cosmetology.

Annie was a proud and dedicated employee of Milpas Rental for 24 years. Over the years, she also worked as a waitress at Jolly Tiger and as a store associate at Tecolote Book Store.

Annie enjoyed many hobbies, but her greatest passions were listening to music, reading, basket weaving, and spending time with her loved ones. One of her final requests was to play a round of dominoes with her favorite great-nephew, Isaiah—and they did just that.

She is survived by her mother, Aurelia Vargas Regalado; her siblings: John Regalado, Katie Danieli, Elise Nielsen, brother-in-law Steven Nielsen, Thomas Regalado, Daniel Regalado, Julie Regalado, her daughter Anna Regalado Nava and son-in-law Angel Nava Mora; her grandson Angel Nava Mora and granddaughter Liliana Regalado-Mimms; along with her two beautiful great-grandchildren, Jason and Gabriela.

Annie was preceded in death by her father, John Joseph Regalado, her beloved grandson, Gabriel Regalado and her best friend/ sister Rosie.
