Jean Perotte
It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Jean Perotte, 96, of Goleta, on April 12, 2026. Born January 22, 1930, in Broadview, Saskatchewan, Canada, Jean lived a life devoted to family, faith, and home. She met her beloved husband, James, in Calgary in 1952, and they married in 1954, beginning a life that included travel and many relocations across the United States and beyond.
Jean ultimately settled in Goleta, California, where she resided for over fifty-five years and found deep appreciation in the closeness of the mountains and the ocean. Though she worked in several professions over the years, Jean cherished most her role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is lovingly remembered by her three children and their spouses, eight grandchildren and their spouses, and four great-grandchildren, all of whom were guided by her compassion, grace, and steadfast love. Jean found joy in family, travel, the ocean, music, reading, dogs, chocolate, and ice cream, and will be forever cherished for the enduring home she created for generations of her family.
