A long-time resident of Santa Barbara, Pam was born December 28, 1928, in Amherst, Ohio. She graduated from Amherst High School and was married to George W. “Bud” Decker, Jr. in 1951. Before they moved to Santa Barbara in 1954, Pam worked as a Sales Secretary for The Ridge Tool Co. in Elyria, Ohio and Twin Coach Co. in Kent, Ohio. Once in Santa Barbara, she was employed by D&R Ltd. and Electronic Products Co. After raising their five daughters, she returned to the work force and was employed by Allstate Insurance Co. After retirement, Pam and Bud enjoyed traveling the country in their motor home, visiting family and friends and making new friends along the way.

Pam is survived by her daughters, Ellen Coudray of Ojai, Dawn Gendron of Carpinteria, Barbara Chehami of Santa Barbara, Laura Decker and Jill Rauch of Goleta, as well as eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Her death was preceded by her husband, Bud; her parents Edward and Lillian and a sister, Norma May.
