Blair William Martin

Blair was born on January 8, 1950, in Lompoc, CA, to Nelson and Violet Martin. He passed away on June 2, 2026 in Santa Barbara, CA.

At age 5, the family moved to Santa Barbara and Blair attended McKinley Elementary, Washington Elementary, La Cumbre Jr. High, and Santa Barbara High School (Class of 1968). After High School, Blair was offered a job from Russ Johnston and spent the next 32 years as a mechanic at San Marcos Lanes, Orchid Bowl, and Zodo’s (AMF). Blair enjoyed playing pool, bowling, golf, swimming and poker.

After retirement, he and his long-time companion, Clare Montana, became world travelers going to Mexico, the Galapagos Islands, Europe, China and Africa. They visited 43 National Parks in the U.S. and Canada and 23 Countries.
