Linda Jean Wilson

Linda Jean Wilson(ne’e) Koscinski of Goleta California passed away peacefully from cancer at her home on April 30, 2026.

Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1957 Linda moved with her family to Santa Barbara in 1970. She attended local schools and graduated from Dos Pueblos high school in 1975. After high school she worked in the dental field for many years.

She met and married Billy Wilson in 1979. She divorced several years later and met Erik Vogt on a blind date and they married in 2007 and then moved to Germany that same year. In 2010 they moved to Dubai and lived there until 2024. She and Erik traveled all over Europe until they returned to Goleta.

Linda’s favorite thing to do was to go shopping. She loved clothes, purses, shoes, and jewelry always being color coordinated. She also had a great love for dogs.

Linda is survived by her husband, Eric, stepdaughter’s, Erin and Shana, parents, Norbert and Sharon koscinski of Santa Barbara, sister, Janet Grady(Rob) of Carpinteria, niece Shannon(Gauthier), grand nephew, Derek, and grand niece, Giselle of Florida and many relatives. She is proceeded in death by younger sister Diane.

Special thanks go out to her husband and all of the caregivers from hospice that took care of her in her last days. As quoted by Keanu Reeves when asked by Stephen Colbert what happens when you die? He said.” I know that the ones who love us will miss us.”
