Patricia (Eaton) Rosales

Patricia Rosales (née Eaton) passed away peacefully on August 14th, 2026 in Santa Barbara.

Pat was born on January 9th, 1934 in Stonington, Maine to Frederick Eaton, Jr. and Laura Eaton (neé Stinson). She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Armando Rosales, and her son, Richard, who passed away last year. She is survived by her children, Raymond, Robert, Rhonda, and Rochelle, her grandchildren, Mark, Ben, Zoë, Emily, and Adam, and her great-grandchildren, Olivia, Madison, Sage, and Evelyn, as well as her siblings, Cynthia and Reg.

Pat moved to Santa Barbara as a small child and she lived here her entire life. While she had strong ties to her small-island Maine background, her heart and her home were firmly grounded in Santa Barbara. She was a voracious reader who enjoyed gardening and puzzles. Her favorite activity was spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren and great-children grow up.

Pat was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.

A celebration of life will be planned in Santa Barbara later in the year when Pat’s remains will be scattered in the sea along with those of her husband.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pat’s name to the Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara (CFSB).
