Dianna (Dani) McNamara

Dianna (Dani) McNamara, age 52, of Santa Barbara, went home to be with the Lord on August 24, 2026. Born to Barry and Carol McNamara, Dianna spent her life bringing beauty and care into the world.

For many years, Dianna worked as a talented hairdresser, a profession where her warmth and kindness truly shone. Guided by her faith, she found comfort and community in her daily routine, which included visiting the Fr. Virgil Cordano Center every day, where she was a familiar, beloved, and blessed face. Above all else, Dianna was a dedicated mother. Her greatest earthly joy and deepest devotion was loving and caring for her son.

She is survived by her cherished son, Johnathan; her mother, Carol; and her sister, Melanie.

A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Dianna’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Santa Barbara.

In honor of Dianna’s memory, her family asks that we carry forward her belief that everyone is a child of God, and that we extend agape love to all.

The family of Dianna McNamara wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Welch-Ryce-Haider Funeral Chapels and Our Lady of Sorrows Church for their kindness, guidance, and compassionate care during this difficult time. Your support has been a source of great comfort to our family.

Dear Staff and Volunteers at the Fr. Virgil Cordano Center, On behalf of the family of Dianna McNamara, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone at the center. Dianna looked forward to visiting you every day, and your facility provided her with far more than just a safe place to go—you gave her a true sense of belonging, warmth, and community.
